Pierian Data creates online courses in data science and programming that reach a large global audience. Popular courses attract pirates: within days of a release, copies appear on file-sharing sites, forums and course-resale platforms, often ranking in Google next to the official course page.
What Onsist did
Onsist monitors file-sharing sites, cyberlockers, forums and search engines 24/7 for Pierian Data’s course material. Pirated copies are reported to the sites and hosting providers involved, and removed from Google and Bing. Through the Onsist account, the team sees every finding and takedown, with a weekly report in their inbox.
The result
Pirated copies are found and removed continuously, without the Pierian Data team having to search for them or file notices themselves.
